(TESTING / Accreditation standards for testing laboratories)
This provides criteria to verify whether inspection bodies conduct fair and consistent inspections, and whether inspections are performed impartially and fairly, with inspection results evaluated appropriately.
In addition to general criteria items, emphasis is placed on whether the inspection body possesses a perspective responsive to customer needs, enabling a comprehensive evaluation.

1. Impartiality and Independence
Inspection bodies must ensure independence, objectivity, and impartiality from any interests that could influence inspection results.
2. Customer Perspective
While inspection standards emphasize impartiality and independence, the inspections themselves must comprehensively address customer requirements.
Inspection bodies must verify that the inspection scope includes the perspectives and items requested by the customer, not limiting themselves solely to objectively essential inspection items or their own interpretations.
3. Management
A management system must be established that clearly defines the responsibilities, authorities, and interrelationships of all personnel affecting inspection activities.
4. Facilities and Personnel
Facilities used for inspection must provide suitable environmental conditions for the activities.
All necessary equipment (inspection facilities, inspection instruments, etc.) must be available.
